This position is responsible for ensuring charges are accurate, transparent, and compliant, while supporting the organisation's financial sustainability and delivering fair outcomes for residents.

You will assess management company costs, identify additional services where required, and produce clear, accurate service charge budgets that are easy for residents to understand. You will also play an important role in ensuring our rent and service charge processes align with current legislation, regulation, and best practice.

  • Support the development of service charge budgets for future schemes and business opportunities
  • Ensure all rent setting activities comply with legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate records and data within relevant systems and spreadsheets
  • Identify and implement improvements to processes, efficiency, and data quality
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues across the organisation on rent and service charge matters
About you
  • Strong knowledge of rent setting and service charge processes within the housing sector
  • Understanding of current legislation, regulation, and best practice
  • Experience of preparing service charge budgets and year-end reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others

  • A health cash plan, with financial support for a range of options including physiotherapy, opticians, dental and private online GP sessions
  • Study support package, helping you achieve your personal and professional development ambitions
  • Workplace Pension - matching personal contributions up to 5%

  • Charity fundraising support, with match-funding up to £1,000 for good causes

We believe that investing in our people is key to our success. Our benefits are designed to support your well-being, professional growth, and work-life balance, ensuring you feel valued and empowered to make a difference every day.
